Frequently Asked Questions

Our in-home wound care services offer convenience and professional assurance. Each client is personally followed up by a dedicated nurse who provides high-quality care such as wound cleansing and suture removal—all in the comfort of your own home, without the need to travel to a clinic. This is especially beneficial for patients with mobility challenges or those living in remote areas. We provide personalized care plans tailored to your condition, ensuring safe, effective, and timely healing.

Unlike many service providers that require clients to purchase their own dressings or reimburse nurses separately, our pricing is all-inclusive. The fee already covers most commonly used wound dressings, helping you save on expensive wound care materials.

For non-complicated wounds, our registered nurses are fully capable of providing professional care. For more complex wounds, we also have specialist wound care nurses available. If necessary, we will help arrange a referral to a wound care specialist for home follow-up.

During a wound care visit, our nurse will: Perform hand hygiene and wear gloves. Assess the wound: type, size, discharge, and overall condition. Cleanse the wound using appropriate antiseptic solution.
If needed, perform debridement to remove dead tissue. Apply suitable dressings or antimicrobial materials. Cover the wound securely to promote healing and prevent infection.
Record wound condition in detail (size, discharge amount, color,etc..) to monitor progress.

Keep the wound area clean and dry, and avoid exposing it to water or dirt to reduce infection risk. If you notice redness, swelling, discharge, or pain, inform your doctor—this may indicate the need to delay suture removal or re-operation. Refrain from intense physical activity or stretching the area before your appointment to ensure proper healing.

It is not recommended to remove stitches by yourself at home. Proper suture removal requires medical knowledge and sterile equipments and techniques. DIY removal may lead to infection, wound gapping, or scarring. Our professional home suture removal service ensures that your wound is assessed thoroughly and that the timing is appropriate, reducing the risk of complications.

Yes. Post-stitches wound care is essential to ensure complete healing and infection prevention. You should: Keep the area clean and dry. Use appropriate dressing materials as advised.
Avoid strenuous movement that may stretch the wound site. Monitor for signs of infection (redness, discharge, swelling, or pain)
If any abnormal symptoms appear after suture removal, contact us promptly for follow-up.
